Qognify and Navi Mumbai win most notable critical infrastructure protection program from
GSN 2017 Airport, Seaport, Border Security Awards
Qognify is awarded for VisionHub Qblock in the Best Video Surveillance Storage Product by Government Security News (GSN) 2017 Airport, Seaport, Border Security Awards. The GSN 2017 has also recognized the collaboration of Qoognify with Navi Mumbai Police.
The company has been awarded for the most notable critical infrastructure protection program; and for the second consecutive year, it has also been recognized for its major international project deployments.
At the core of the Navi Mumbai safe city project is Qognify Situator, an advanced situation management platform, and Qognify’s video management solution, which controls the hundreds of surveillance cameras throughout the new city that has been developed to handle the population overflow from Mumbai.

Speaking at the time the project was announced in April 2017, Soma Vijayakumar, CGM, CIDCO (the agency established for managing the new city) commented, “The Navi Mumbai security program goes far beyond a CCTV system. It is a smart solution that integrates video, emergency response, traffic control, license plate identification and more. Qognify is the core important element of this platform, providing a solution which is among the most modern and advanced available anywhere.” He now adds, “We are very proud to have been nominated with Qognify in this prestigious award program.”
