Hikvision was part of the recently held 12th World Education Summit to showcase its innovative solutions for the education sector. The event was organized by Elets Technomedia in New Delhi during 9-10 August. It was inaugurated by Uttarakhand’s Higher Education Minister, Dhan Singh Rawat and Nagaland’s Higher and Technical Education Minister, Temjen Imna along with other eminent dignitaries. The Summit was divided into four segments – School Education, Higher education, Expo and Awards.

Hikvision focused on promoting the broadcasting solution, which comprises a PTZ camera with a smart tracking option. This special camera tracks the teacher during the ongoing lecture and zooms in when the teacher writes something on the board. This feed can be streamed live to other classes in the building or even to any part of the world. The live lecture can even be webcasted on the youtube in real time. It even records the whole lecture to be played or seen later by anyone anytime.
The 12th World education summit witnessed insightful discussions on various aspects of school and higher education for two days. Hikvision stall attracted a large number of industry specific visitors, which included decision makers from the educational institutions. The overall response was good as the event generated some relevant enquiries.
